07 |  REBRAND

CHAPMAN CULTURE CENTER

PITCH WEEK 2024

As part of SCSA’s annual Pitch Week, design students were challenged to rebrand a real-world arts organization and present their work to a panel of industry professionals. This semester-long project focused on research, identity development, and visual storytelling. My assigned client was the Chapman Cultural Center, where I led a full rebrand centered on community engagement and accessibility in the arts.

OPPORTUNITY

The Chapman Cultural Center, a community-driven arts hub in Spartanburg, SC, served as the subject for a semester-long rebrand. The challenge was to develop a full visual identity and presentation that reflected the Center’s mission while amplifying the voices of the people it serves. Centered on storytelling, place, and community representation, the rebrand prioritized accessibility and inclusion as foundational values. The resulting identity wove together human-centered narratives through thoughtful design, creating a system rooted in shared culture, creativity, and connection.
